It’s Friday! And I get to talk a bit about my current marketing projects. Successes and challenges and what’s next.
Since my last post, I’ve (1) successfully shut down another redundant company domain, redirecting traffic to our “combined” corporate website, (2) conducted content-level and technical SEO updates to dozens of product web pages, (3) attended an industry networking event, (4) spent time planning our trade show calendar through 2024, and tested out some Social posting tools (among about a hundred other things).
My take-aways
- I still love being in front of clients, but it’s hard work! It’s important to pace yourself and only schedule in as many events as you can handle, given the stresses of travel and the odd work hours.
- It’s important to watch the clock, log your time on tasks, and take breaks. I’m guilty of skipping lunch on more than one occasion because I’m “on a roll”, but you may be the only person who notices.
- Lastly, I’m incredibly grateful for the job I have, the flexibility of my hours and work location, and I love working in a technical field related to air quality and the environment.
